Abstract
The invention relates to a nut with a clamping body, a threaded unit composed of threaded segments, and guide pins. The threaded segments comprise a curved inner surface and are pushed apart by an expansion spring against the force of a clamping body. The threaded unit comprises guide means which guide the threaded segments in the segment receptacle and move the inner surfaces toward each other when the clamping body is pushed on. To protect the expansion spring, the side surfaces of the threaded segments are contoured to constitute a retaining stop for the guide pins in the rear region of the nut in front of the expansion spring. To protect the threads, smooth bolt supports are provided at the edges of the threaded segments.
Claims23
A nut for screwing onto a threaded bolt in an axial tightening direction (R), with a front section and a rear section, respectively relative to the tightening direction (R), and with
- a clamping body with a segment holder that is open on at least one side, first guide means, and guide pins that protrude radially inward,
- a threaded unit that can be moved back and forth in the segment receptacle at least in the tightening direction (R), which comprises at least two thread segments with curved inner sides having thread pitches, wherein the thread segments can be assembled to form a segmented internal thread with thread segments adjacent to or spaced apart from each other,
- second guide means provided on the threaded unit, which interact with the first guide means in such a way that the thread segments are guided in the segment receptacle and, when the clamping body is moved relative to the threaded unit in the tightening direction (R), the curved inner sides are moved toward each other in such a way that the thread sections constitute the segmented internal thread, wherein
- the threaded segments comprise side surfaces extending along both sides in the tightening direction (R), and the guide pins protrude into gaps between opposite side surfaces and at least one of the side surfaces (11) is contoured in such a way that the side surfaces in the front section of the nut constitute a stop for the guide pins characterized in that
- the threaded segments comprise smooth recesses free of threads on at least one side between the threaded segments and the side surfaces to form a smooth bolt support which extends over the entire length of the threaded segments from the front section to the rear section, wherein the surface of the threaded segments is embodied in the region of the recesses such that the recesses lie completely outside a cylindrical envelope surface in the radial direction, which envelops the outer areas of the thread sections of the internal thread.
A nut for screwing onto a threaded bolt in an axial tightening direction (R), with a front section and a rear section, respectively relative to the tightening direction (R), and with
- a clamping body with a segment receptacle open on at least one side, first guide means, and guide pins projecting radially inward,
- a threaded unit that can be moved back and forth in the segment receptacle at least in the tightening direction (R), which comprises at least two threaded segments with curved inner sides having thread sections, wherein the threaded segments can be assembled to form a segmented internal thread with threaded segments adjacent to or spaced apart from each other,
- second guide means provided on the threaded unit, which interact with the first guide means in such a way that the threaded segments are guided in the segment receptacle and, when the clamping body is moved relative to the threaded unit in the tightening direction (R), the curved inner sides are moved toward each other in such a way that the thread sections constitute the segmented internal thread,
- wherein the threaded segments comprise side surfaces extending on both sides along the tightening direction (R) and the guide pins protrude into gaps between opposite side surfaces and at least one of the side surfaces is contoured in such a way that the side surfaces in the front section of the nut constitute a stop for the guide pins characterized in that
- at least one of the side surfaces is contoured in such a way that the side surfaces in the rear section of the nut constitute a retaining stop for the guide pins
