A self-drilling fastener for fixing attachments to a roof includes a fastener body having a first end and a second end, a flanged head at the first end having a top, sides perpendicular to the top, and a flange, and a cylindrical shank extending from the head toward the second end and having an angled shoulder, at least one buttress thread, a tapered portion formed at the second end, and a cutting portion formed on the tapered portion. The tapered portion forms a point at the second end and the cutting portion is configured to cut through wood. The self-drilling fastener also includes a sealing washer.
