Abstract

To provide a technique capable of detecting the position and degree of a drain discharge abnormality. A two-stage gas compressor 100 comprises: a low-pressure-stage compressor main body 3 that compresses gas; a compressed gas cooler 5 that cools compressed gas compressed by the low-pressure-stage compressor main body 3; a drain separator 7 that separates drain from the compressed gas cooled by the compressed gas cooler 5; a drain discharge path 71, 72 that sends drain separated by the drain separator 7 to the outside of the two-stage gas compressor 100; a drain discharge valve 13 that opens and closes at predetermined intervals to discharge the separated drain; a drain discharge path pressure sensor 17 that is provided downstream of the drain discharge valve 13 and measures pressure in the drain discharge path 72; and a control unit 10 that determines the position and degree of a drain discharge abnormality based on pressure measured by the drain discharge path pressure sensor 17.
