Abstract
The present invention provides a method for selectively modifying a substrate surface, the method comprising a step for applying a composition to the surface of the substrate, the composition containing water and a compound (A) having a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring and a monovalent organic group having 4 or more carbon atoms.
Claims24
A method for selectively modifying a substrate surface, comprising:
- coating a composition on a surface of a substrate,
- wherein the composition comprises a compound (A), which has a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring and a monovalent organic group having 4 or more carbon atoms, and water.

A method for producing a surface-treated substrate, comprising:
- coating a composition on a surface of a substrate to selectively modify the surface of the substrate,
- wherein the composition comprises a compound (A), which has a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring and a monovalent organic group having 4 or more carbon atoms, and water.
A composition, used for selectively modifying a substrate surface, the composition comprising:
- a compound (A), which has a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring and a monovalent organic group having 4 or more carbon atoms;
- and
- water,
- wherein the monovalent organic group having 4 or more carbon atoms, which is included in the compound (A), is bonded to a nitrogen atom constituting the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, or is bonded to a nitrogen atom that is bonded to the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring directly or via a divalent linking group.
