Abstract
The present application relates to: a variant gene encoding phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase, which comprises a variant 5′-untranslated region (5′UTR), the variant gene comprising a ribosome-binding site (RBS) variant sequence; a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)-producing microorganism comprising the gene; and a PHA production method using same.
Claims19
A mutant polynucleotide encoding a mutant 5′-untranslated region (5′UTR), comprising a sequence in which any one or more bases selected from the group consisting of bases corresponding to positions 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 10 in a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 are mutated.
A mutant polynucleotide comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase, the mutant polynucleotide further comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a mutant 5′UTR including a sequence in which any one or more bases selected from the group consisting of bases corresponding to positions 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 10 in a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 are mutated.
