Abstract
A rubber composition is based on at least an elastomer matrix, a reinforcing filler, a vulcanization system and a plasticizing system comprising at least one specific fatty acid ester with a weight-average molar mass (Mw) of less than 5000 g/mol, selected from monoesters of fatty acid and of fatty alcohol and diesters of fatty acid with a diol dimer, as biobased plasticizer.

A rubber composition based on at least:
- an elastomer matrix;
- 40 to 200 phr of a reinforcing filler;
- 10 to 140 phr of a plasticizing system comprising at least one specific fatty acid ester with a weight-average molar mass Mw of less than 5000 g/mol determined by size exclusion chromatography, selected from monoesters of fatty acid and of fatty alcohol and diesters of fatty acid and of a diol dimer;
- and
- a crosslinking system.
