Abstract
Provided is a substituted polyphenylene sulfide resin containing a constituent unit represented by General formula (1): wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each independently H, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an alkenyl group-containing organic group, and one or more of R1, R2, R3, and R4 are an alkyl group or an alkoxy group.

A substituted polyphenylene sulfide resin comprising a constituent unit represented by General formula (I):
- [wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each independently H, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an alkenyl group-containing organic group, and one or more of R1, R2, R3, and R4 are an alkyl group or an alkoxy group], wherein
- the substituted polyphenylene sulfide resin has a dielectric loss tangent at 10 GHz of less than 0.002.
A substituted polyphenylene sulfide resin comprising a terminal structure represented by General formula (Ill-a):
- [wherein Xs are each independently H, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an alkenyl group-containing organic group, one or more of Xs are an alkenyl group-containing organic group, and n is an integer of from 1 to 5].
