Abstract
A fusion protein for use in an auxin-degron system for controlling degradation of a target protein in a non-plant-derived eukaryotic cell, the fusion protein containing a degradation tag that contains at least a part of an Aux/IAA family protein and has an affinity for a complex of a TIR1 family protein with an auxin or an auxin analog, and a protein having an affinity for the target protein.
