An assembly for coupling to a barnes neck of a beverage keg includes a housing defining a chamber along a center axis and a coupler at the bottom end having a C-shaped cross-section to receive the barnes neck. A probe is moveable along the axis. An umbrella seal positioned about a bottom portion of the probe creates a seal around the keg valve during use and prevents overspray during disengagement. A handle extends into the chamber and pivots about a transverse axis, with at least one engagement foot positioned above the umbrella seal to move the probe and seal axially between engaged and disengaged positions. In the engaged position, the probe opens the keg valve to permit beverage flow through the valve and gas flow into the keg; in the disengaged position, the probe is spaced from the valve to prevent beverage and gas flow.
