Fluid dispensing element

A fluid dispensing element for a fluid container, wherein the fluid dispensing element comprises:

• an inlet;
• a fluid channel;
• a mouth portion;
• a first shelf;
• wherein the inlet is configured such that fluid from a main cavity of the fluid container is configured to enter the fluid channel;
• wherein the mouth portion is configured to expel fluid out of the fluid channel;
• wherein the fluid channel is positioned between the inlet and the mouth portion, wherein a proximal end of the fluid channel is configured to be adjacent the inlet and a distal end of the fluid channel is configured to be adjacent the mouth portion;
• wherein the first shelf is positioned between the inlet and the mouth portion;
• and
• wherein the first shelf is configured to partially obstruct the fluid channel such that at least a portion of the fluid channel meanders and wherein the fluid channel extends in at least a first and a second direction, wherein the first and the second direction are angularly separated.
