Abstract
The disclosure relates to systems and device that change the effective seat angle of a bicycle. The system may include a bicycle having a seat tube. The bicycle may also have a bicycle seat with a seat post. An insert may include a seat tube interface that is configured to slide into the seat tube. The insert may also include a seat post interface that is configured to receive the seat post. The seat post interface may be formed interior of the seat tube interface. The insert's seat tube interface and seat post interface are offset to change the effective seat angle of the bicycle.
Claims20
A system for changing the effective seat angle of a bicycle, the system comprising:
- a bicycle having a seat tube;
- a bicycle seat having a seat post;
- and
- an insert, the insert comprising:
- a seat tube interface configured to slide into the seat tube;
- and
- a seat post interface configured to receive the seat post, the seat post interface formed interior of the seat tube interface,
- wherein the seat tube interface and the seat post interface are offset.
A bicycle seat tube insert comprising:
- a seat tube interface configured to slide into a seat tube of a bicycle;
- and
- a seat post interface configured to receive a seat post of a bicycle seat, the seat post interface formed interior of the seat tube interface,
- wherein the seat tube interface and the seat post interface are offset.
A bicycle seat tube insert comprising:
- a seat tube interface configured to slide into a seat tube of a bicycle;
- a seat post interface configured to receive a seat post of a bicycle seat, the seat post interface formed interior of the seat tube interface;
- and
- a clamp, the clamp at least partially disposed in a clamp receiving portion formed in the insert,
- wherein the seat tube interface and the seat post interface are offset.
