A liquid discharge head includes a circulation channel capable of having liquid be circulate, a discharge unit configured to discharge liquid circulating through the circulation channel, a circulation pump configured to have liquid circulate through the circulation channel, a pump drive unit configured to drive the circulation pump in accordance with ability information being able to be set by a component of the circulation pump, a head board configured to implement a function of the pump driver unit, and a storage unit configured to be mounted on the head board and configured to store the ability information. The ability information is an indicator of ability to have liquid circulate through the circulation channel.
