Abstract
The present invention relates to a molded catalyst and a manufacturing method therefor and, more specifically, to a manufacturing method for a molded catalyst capable of sufficiently expressing coating strength, improving or maintaining catalytic activity even with a small amount of catalytically active metal, minimizing the use of a catalyst coating solution, and being reusable, thereby reducing the loss of the catalyst coating solution, and to a molded catalyst manufactured by the manufacturing method.
Claims12
A manufacturing method for a molded catalyst, the manufacturing method comprising:
- (a) immersing a molded body in a coating solution including a catalytic component to form a wet layer containing the catalytic component on a surface of the molded body;
- (b) immersing the molded body on which the wet layer has been formed in a fixation solution in which at least one compound selected from the group consisting of LiOH, NaOH, KOH, NH4OH, and (NH2)2CO is dissolved, thereby fixing the wet layer onto the surface of the molded body;
- and
- (c) subjecting the molded body on which the wet layer has been fixed to heat treatment, thereby forming a coating layer of the catalytic component on the surface of the molded body.
A molded catalyst having a coating layer of a catalytic component formed on a surface of a molded body, the molded catalyst being manufactured by a manufacturing method comprising:
- (a) immersing a molded body in a coating solution including a catalytic component to form a wet layer containing the catalytic component on a surface of the molded body;
- (b) immersing the molded body on which the wet layer has been formed in a fixation solution in which at least one compound selected from the group consisting of LiOH, NaOH, KOH, NH4OH, and (NH2)2CO is dissolved, thereby fixing the wet layer onto the surface of the molded body;
- and
- (c) subjecting the molded body on which the wet layer has been formed to heat treatment, thereby forming a coating layer of the catalytic component on the surface of the molded body.
