Abstract
There is provided a haptic device. The haptic device comprises an electric control unit and one or more transducer element. The one or more transducer element is configured to be activated based on electrical signaling from the electronic control unit. Configuration of the one or more transducer element is such that that vibrations are obtained through modifying electrical signaling from the electronic control unit to the one or more transducer element such that if the device is arranged against a skin of a user, the vibrations are configured to generate pressure fields towards the skin of the user.
Claims29
A haptic device,
- comprising an electronic control unit and one or more transducer element,
- wherein the one or more transducer element is configured to be activated based on electrical signaling from the electronic control unit, and
- wherein the one or more transducer element is configured such that vibrations are obtainable through modifying electrical signaling from the electronic control unit to the one or more transducer element such that the vibrations are configured to generate pressure fields,
- further comprising at least one membrane coupled to the one or more transducer element;
- wherein a resonance pattern in the at least one membrane is configured to generate spatiotemporally modifiable local displacement regions, which generate acoustic pressure fields respectively.
