Abstract
An noise-reducing attachment to a surgical device, a surgical device having such a noise-reducing attachment, and a surgical device with an integrated noise-reducing valve housing portion. The attachment or the noise-reducing valve hosing portion includes an airflow redirecting portion and at least one clip fixing portion. The airflow redirecting portion includes an opening extending from a top face of the airflow redirecting portion to a bottom face of the airflow redirecting portion, and, when viewed in a plan view along a through-axis of the attachment, an axis extending through the opening is non-perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the attachment.
Claims20
An noise-reducing attachment to a surgical device, comprising:
- an airflow redirecting portion;
- and
- at least one clip fixing portion,
- wherein the airflow redirecting portion includes an opening extending from a top face of the airflow redirecting portion to a bottom face of the airflow redirecting portion, and an axis extending through the opening from the top face to the bottom face is non-perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the attachment.
A surgical device, comprising:
- a proximal portion having a suction tip;
- a valve-housing portion comprising a valve;
- a distal portion;
- and
- an attachment attached to the valve-housing portion, wherein the attachment comprises:
- an airflow redirecting portion;
- and
- at least one clip fixing portion,
- wherein the airflow redirecting portion includes an opening extending from a top face of the airflow redirecting portion to a bottom face of the airflow redirecting portion, and an axis extending through the opening from the top face to the bottom face is non-perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the attachment.
A surgical device, comprising:
- a proximal portion having a suction tip;
- a valve-housing portion comprising a valve;
- and
- a distal portion,
- wherein the valve-housing portion includes an airflow redirecting portion that includes the valve, the valve extending from a top face of the airflow redirecting portion to a bottom face of airflow redirecting portion, and, an axis extending through the valve from the top face to the bottom face is non-perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the surgical device.
