Abstract
The present invention provides a medicament for preventing and/or treating a disease or condition associated with a decrease in brain blood flow, comprising vascular endothelial cells positive for a CD157 cell surface marker, wherein the cells are from a mammal, wherein the medicament is used so that the vascular endothelial cells are delivered into a brain; and a medicament for regenerating brain blood vessels, comprising vascular endothelial cells positive for a CD157 cell surface marker, wherein the cells are from a mammal, wherein the medicament is used so that the vascular endothelial cells are delivered into a brain.

A method for preventing and/or treating a disease or condition associated with a decrease in brain blood flow, comprising administering an effective amount of vascular endothelial cells positive for a CD157 cell surface marker to a subject in need thereof, wherein the cells are from a mammal, wherein the cells are administered so that they are delivered into a brain.
A method for regenerating brain blood vessels, comprising administering an effective amount of vascular endothelial cells positive for a CD157 cell surface marker to a subject in need thereof, wherein the cells are from a mammal, wherein the cells are administered so that they are delivered into a brain.
