A method of inhibiting proliferation of cells each having expression of receptor colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R), in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a compound represented by the formula:
- wherein the compound is administered in an amount of about 2 mg to about 60 mg.
A method of inhibiting the proliferation of cells each having expression of receptor colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R) in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a compound represented by the formula:
- wherein the administering comprises:
- administering a loading dose of the compound daily for a first time period;
- and administering a maintenance dose of the compound once a week, twice a week, or three times a week for a second time period.
A method of reducing the level of CD16+ monocytes in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound represented by the formula:
- wherein the pharmaceutical composition is administered in an amount to provide about 2 mg to about 60 mg of the compound once a day, twice daily, every other day, once a week, twice weekly, or three times a week, thereby treating the patient for a disorder resulting in elevated CD16+ monocytes.
