Abstract
Oral compositions, including pharmaceutical compositions and dietary supplements, of a mixture of fatty acid esters comprising omega-3 fatty acid ethyl esters and a liquid carrier are provided herein. Methods of using the oral compositions to treat conditions and improve health are also provided.
Claims102
An oral composition comprising:
- a mixture of fatty acid esters comprising omega-3 fatty acid ethyl esters and omega-6 fatty acid ethyl esters;
- and
- a liquid carrier comprising olive oil.
An oral composition comprising:
- a mixture of fatty acid esters comprising omega-3 fatty acid ethyl esters and omega-6 fatty acid ethyl esters, wherein the oral composition comprises less than 6% omega-6 fatty acid ethyl esters relative to the omega-3 fatty acid ethyl esters;
- and
- a liquid carrier.
