Abstract

Disclosed are compositions comprising urolithins with active agents, particularly compositions comprising urolithins and one or more retinoid compounds, for example, topical compositions of urolithins with one or more retinoids. Also disclosed are uses of such compositions, for use for the treatment or prevention of diseases, disorders and conditions, particularly diseases, disorder or conditions of the skin and hair, and for use in non-therapeutic treatments. Also disclosed is use of a urolithin, for example, urolithin A, in reducing adverse effects of the administration of a retinoid compound.
