Abstract
The present invention relates to a dental composition containing a compound (a) having an acidic group represented by the following formula (I): R1—Xk (1), in which in the formula (I), R1 represents an organic group having 40 or less carbon atoms that has or does not have at least one (meth)acryloyloxy group, X represents an acidic group, and k represents an integer of 1 or 2, in which in the case where k is 2, two acidic groups X may be the same as or different from each other, a calcium ion (b1), water (c), and a hydrophilic solvent (d), substantially not containing a crosslinkable polymerizable monomer that is an organic compound other than the compound (a) having an acidic group, and is an organic compound other than the hydrophilic solvent (d).
Claims10
1:
- A dental composition, comprising:
- a compound (a) having an acidic group represented by formula (I):
- wherein, in formula (I), R1 represents an organic group having 40 or less carbon atoms that has or does not have at least one (meth)acryloyloxy group, X represents an acidic group, and k represents an integer of 1 or 2, with the proviso that when k is 2, two acidic groups X may be the same or different;
- a calcium ion (b1);
- water (c);
- and
- a hydrophilic solvent (d);
- wherein the composition substantially does not contain a crosslinkable polymerizable monomer that is an organic compound other than the compound (a) having an acidic group, and is an organic compound other than the hydrophilic solvent (d).
2:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein the compound (a) having an acidic group is represented by formula (II):
- wherein, in formula (II), R1 and k have the same meanings as defined in formula (I), Am− represents an m-valent acid anion group derived from the acidic group X, m represents an integer of 1, 2, or 3, a and b represent integers of 1, 2, or 3, and m, a, and b have a relationship satisfying an expression am=b.
3:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein the compound (a) having an acidic group is represented by formula (III):
- wherein, in formula (III), R2 represents a (meth)acryloyloxy group or hydrogen, and R3 represents an alkylene group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms.
4:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein the calcium ion (b1) is derived from at least one calcium compound (b) selected from the group consisting of CaO and a compound represented by formula (IV):
- wherein, in formula (IV), Yn− represents an anion as a counter ion of the calcium ion, n represents an integer of 1, 2, or 3, c and d each represent an integer of 1, 2, or 3, and c, d, and n have a relationship satisfying an expression 2c=nd.
5:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein the calcium ion (b1) is derived from at least one calcium compound (b) selected from the group consisting of CaO, CaCl2, Ca(OH)2, and CaF2.
6:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein:
- a content of the component (c) is 1 to 90% by mass, based on 100% by mass in total of the components (a), (c), and (d);
- and
- a content of the component (d) is 1 to 90% by mass, based on 100% by mass in total of the components (a), (c), and (d).
7:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein:
- a content of the component (a) is 10 to 70% by mass, based on 100% by mass in total of the components (a), (c), and (d);
- a content of the component (c) is 1 to 90% by mass, based on 100% by mass in total of the components (a), (c), and (d);
- and
- a content of the component (d) is 1 to 90% by mass, based on 100% by mass in total of the components (a), (c), and (d).
8:
- The dental composition according to claim 4, wherein the dental composition has a ratio of a base gram equivalent derived from the calcium compound (b) with respect to an acid gram equivalent derived from the compound (a) having an acidic group (base gram equivalent/acid gram equivalent) of less than 0.50.
9:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein the dental composition substantially does not contain a zinc ion.
10:
- The dental composition according to claim 1, wherein the dental composition is a dentin strengthening agent.
