Welding information providing apparatus

An imaging apparatus comprising:

• a camera unit comprising at least one camera obtaining image frames;
• a sensor unit detecting information regarding a welding operation;
• and
• a processor electrically connected to the camera unit and the sensor unit,
• wherein the camera unit obtains the image frames by setting or disabling an auto-focus (AF) function according to an input of the user or pre-set conditions,
• the processor disables the AF function of the camera unit under a first set condition in which an operation is in progress and sets the AF function of the camera unit under a second set condition other than the first set condition, and
• the sensor unit detects an amount of external light, and, when an amount of light detected by the optical sensor is equal to or greater than a pre-set reference value, the processor determines that the first set condition is satisfied and disables the AF function of the camera unit.

An imaging apparatus comprising:

• a camera unit;
• an optical sensor configured to detect an amount of external light;
• and
• a processor configured to:
• disable an auto-focus (AF) function of the camera unit when the amount of external light detected by the optical sensor is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.
