Disclosed is a prosthetic socket system that uniquely uses conforming fabrics to provide increased comfort and simplicity of fitting, in order to make long-lasting comfortable prosthetics more accessible to the global amputee population. The system comprises modular, conforming panels that interconnect to form a composite flexible inner socket. This inner socket is suspended from a modular exoskeleton support structure that can be adjusted for user-specific sizing. A containment strap system with adjustable webbing straps and an integrated adjustor mechanism provides fine tension control by selectively winding or releasing the webbing to secure the residual limb. The interplay between the limb's outward forces and the inward forces from the tensioned containment system dynamically defines an anatomically specific socket shape, thereby enhancing biomechanical support and user comfort. The system is designed for rapid, on-site fitting without requiring specialized fabrication equipment or highly trained prosthetists.
