Sound Pickup Unit and Blood Pressure Measurement Device Comprising Same

A sound receiver for blood pressure measurement, the sound receiver comprising:

• a sound collector, which is configured to be in close contact with a body of a subject to collect signals corresponding to blood pressure of the subject and which has a long shape in a direction in which a cuff wraps around a body part of the subject;
• and
• a sensor configured to detect the signals collected by the sound collector while internal pressure of the cuff changes,
• wherein the sound receiver is secured to a hole placed closer to an edge than a center of the cuff, and
• wherein the blood pressure of the subject is measured based on the signals detected by the sensor.

A blood pressure measuring device comprising:

• a cuff comprising an airbag of which internal pressure is regulated by injecting a fluid therein or discharging the injected fluid therefrom;
• a sound receiver configured to collect signals corresponding to blood pressure of a subject;
• and
• a controller configured to measure the blood pressure of the subject,
• wherein the cuff further comprises:
• a bending plate having one end secured to the sound receiver and an other end secured to the cuff, and having a curved shape to bring the one end closer to a body of the subject than the other end.
