Abstract
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber therein for receipt of articles for washing. A method of operating the dishwashing appliance includes initiating a cycle of the dishwashing appliance. The method also includes, during the cycle of the dishwashing appliance, monitoring audio feedback from a component of the dishwashing appliance using an audio sensor mounted to the dishwashing appliance outside of the wash chamber.

A method of operating a dishwashing appliance, the dishwashing appliance comprising a tub defining a wash chamber therein for receipt of articles for washing, the method comprising:
- initiating a cycle of the dishwashing appliance;
- and
- monitoring, during the cycle of the dishwashing appliance, audio feedback from a component of the dishwashing appliance using an audio sensor mounted to the dishwashing appliance outside of the wash chamber.
A dishwashing appliance, comprising:
- a tub defining a wash chamber therein for receipt of articles for washing;
- an audio sensor mounted to the dishwashing appliance outside of the wash chamber;
- and
- a controller, the controller configured for:
- initiating a cycle of the dishwashing appliance;
- and
- monitoring, during the cycle of the dishwashing appliance, audio feedback from a component of the dishwashing appliance using the audio sensor.
