Dispensing Apparatus and Methods

A dispensing apparatus, comprising:

• a housing comprising a removable control head configured to detachably couple to the housing;
• at least one material container;
• an interaction interface configured to validate a user transaction;
• a dispensing mechanism operably coupled to the at least one material container, the dispensing mechanism configured to dispense an amount of material from the at least one material container;
• an extrusion mechanism operably coupled to the dispensing mechanism;
• the extrusion mechanism configured to extrude the amount of material from the dispensing apparatus;
• a processor in communication with the hardware, the dispensing mechanism, and the extrusion mechanism;
• and
• a power source operatively coupled to the processor, the power source configured to supply power to the dispensing apparatus
• wherein the removable control head integrates the processor and the power source.
