Abstract
The present invention describes a novel design for an auto-drip coffee maker, vastly reducing the risk of chemicals leeching into the beverage by designing a system from water reservoir to hot-side brew path to carafe out of ceramic, glass, inert metals and food-grade silicone. A modern flow-through heating system provides precision brew temperatures and eliminates prolonged plastic contact (in a stainless-steel reservoir) and eliminates heated plastic contact (in the hot-side brew path). In addition to protecting consumers from the health risks associated with hydrocarbon-based plastics, the ceramic body coffee maker is engineered to ensure the cleanest-tasting water is delivered to the brew chamber at optimal brew temperatures to offer coffee lovers great tasting coffee.
