Abstract
A fitted half sheet and a method for covering a mattress are described. The invention comprises a sheet designed to cover at least half, but less than the full width, of a mattress while extending from the head to the foot of the bed. One or more fitted half sheets may be used independently or in conjunction with a full traditional fitted sheet, providing a hygienic, smooth and comfortable sleeping surface. This design significantly reduces the effort required to change bedding, making it particularly beneficial for individuals with mobility limitations and those seeking a more efficient approach to bed maintenance. Additionally, the fitted half sheet is designed to be adaptable to multiple standard mattress sizes, eliminating the need for different sized fitted sheets.
