Abstract
A piece of furniture includes a support assembly, a panel assembly connected to the support assembly, a hinge assembly rotatably connecting the first panel to the second panel, and a locking assembly. The panel assembly includes a first panel and a second panel that are rotatably connected to each other, and the first panel and the second panel are to switch between an unfolded state and a folded state. The locking assembly is to lock the hinge assembly when the first panel and the second panel are in the unfolded state, such that the first panel and the second panel are maintained in the unfolded state.
Claims19
A piece of furniture, comprising:
- a support assembly;
- a panel assembly connected to the support assembly, the panel assembly comprising a first panel and a second panel that are rotatably connected to each other, and the first panel and the second panel being configured to switch between an unfolded state and a folded state;
- a hinge assembly rotatably connecting the first panel to the second panel;
- and
- a locking assembly configured to lock the hinge assembly when the first panel and the second panel are in the unfolded state, such that the first panel and the second panel are maintained in the unfolded state.
A panel assembly for a piece of furniture that comprises a support assembly connected with the panel assembly, the panel assembly comprising:
- a first panel;
- a second panel rotatably connected to the first panel, wherein the first panel and the second panel is configured to switch between an unfolded state and a folded state;
- a hinge assembly rotatably connecting the first panel to the second panel;
- and
- a locking assembly configured to lock the hinge assembly when the first panel and the second panel are in the unfolded state, such that the first panel and the second panel are maintained in the unfolded state.
A bed assembly, comprising:
- a bed frame;
- a headboard connected to the bed frame and comprising a first panel and a second panel that are rotatably connected to each other;
- a hinge assembly comprising a first hinge leaf and a second hinge leaf rotatably connected to each other, the first hinge leaf and the second hinge leaf being respectively fixed to the first panel and the second panel, the first hinge leaf and the second hinge leaf each comprising a front surface;
- and
- a locking assembly configured to lock the first hinge leaf to the second hinge leaf when the first panel and the second panel are rotated to a position where the front surface of the first panel is flush with the front surface of the second panel, such that the front surface of the first panel and the front surface of the second panel are maintained flush with each other.
