Abstract
A counterweight for a domestic appliance includes a body having a front face interfacing with the cabinet and a rear face spaced from the front face. The body further includes a first side and a second side spaced from each other and each extending from the front face to the rear face. The counterweight further includes a groove extending from one of the first side or the second side and through the front face and the rear face. The groove is configured to receive a fastener. The body is secured to the cabinet via the fastener.

A domestic appliance comprising:
- a cabinet defining a receiving space;
- and
- a counterweight secured to the cabinet, the counterweight comprising:
- a body including a front face interfacing with the cabinet and a rear face spaced from the front face, the body further including a first side and a second side spaced from each other and each extending from the front face to the rear face;
- and
- a groove extending from one of the first side or the second side and through the front face and the rear face, the groove configured to receive a fastener;
- wherein the body is secured to the cabinet via the fastener.
A counterweight for a domestic appliance, the counterweight comprising:
- a body including a front face configured to interface with the domestic appliance and a rear face spaced from the front face, the body further including a first side and a second side spaced from each other and each extending from the front face to the rear face;
- and
- a groove extending from one of the first side or the second side and through the front face and the rear face, the groove configured to receive a fastener;
- wherein the body is secured to the domestic appliance via the fastener.
