Abstract
An apparatus for securing a power tool. The apparatus includes a wire frame main body with a cage for holding the power tool, such as a drill. The main body is configured to releasably connect to an article of clothing, or another attachment locus, via an attachable clip segment. The invention further includes a method and system for securing accessories to the apparatus.

A universal drill holder, comprising
- a main wire frame comprising:
- a first clip segment configured to detachably suspend the main wire frame from an attachment locus;
- a drill cage segment that is shaped and dimensioned to receive and hold a portable power drill;
- and
- an item carrier receiver shaped and dimensioned to receive a second clip segment;
- and
- an item carrier removably attached to the main wire frame, the item carrier comprising the second clip segment and an item receiver comprising at least one magnet.

A universal drill holder produced by the process of:
- bending at least a first wire to form a main wire frame comprising:
- a first clip segment configured to detachably suspend the main wire frame from an attachment locus;
- a drill cage segment that is shaped and dimensioned to receive and hold a cordless power drill;
- and
- an item carrier receiver shaped and dimensioned to receive a second clip segment;
- bending at least a second wire to form a second clip segment and attaching the second clip segment to an item receiver to form an item carrier;
- inserting the second clip segment into the item carrier receiver;
- and
- connecting at least one magnet to the item receiver.
