Abstract
Trousers and other garments covering the lower body may be partially lowered to permit a person to sit on a toilet seat. Such trousers or other garments can have a strap having a first end attached to the interior surface of the garment, such as in the crotch area or elsewhere, and a second end attachable to another point on the garment such that, when attached, the strap passes over the wearer's leg. This allows the garment to be suspended by the strap passing over the leg to prevent the garment from sinking to the floor.
