Abstract
This document describes a method for configuring a reversible and transformable legwear garment. The garment features a multi-layer tubular body with a first and second surface, each of which can be worn as the exterior. The method includes positioning a tapered portion at the lower leg for a narrower fit and a flared portion at the upper leg for a wider fit. A fastener along a seam allows for inversion, enabling different wear configurations such as extended, folded, scrunched, or inverted. The garment can be transformed into various styles, offering versatility in appearance and function.
Claims20
A method of configuring a reversible and transformable legwear garment, the method comprising:
- providing a multi-layer tubular body extending from a lower leg region to an upper leg region, the multi-layer tubular body having a first surface and a second surface, wherein each of the first surface and the second surface is selectively wearable as an exterior surface;
- positioning a tapered portion of the multi-layer tubular body at the lower leg region to provide a relatively narrower fit;
- positioning a flared portion of the multi-layer tubular body at the upper leg region to provide a relatively wider fit;
- securing a fastener integrated into the multi-layer tubular body along a seam, the fastener enabling inversion of the legwear garment to selectively expose one of the first surface or the second surface as the exterior surface;
- and
- configuring the legwear garment into at least one of a plurality of distinct wear configurations comprising an extended configuration, a folded configuration, a scrunched configuration, or an inverted configuration.
A method of transforming a legwear garment, the method comprising:
- providing a reversible legwear garment comprising a multi-layer tubular body having a first surface and a second surface, a tapered portion at a lower leg region, a flared portion at an upper leg region, and a fastener integrated along a seam;
- positioning the legwear garment along a leg of a wearer from the lower leg region to the upper leg region in an extended configuration;
- securing the fastener to hold the legwear garment in a worn configuration;
- transforming the legwear garment from the extended configuration into at least one alternative configuration selected from a folded configuration, a scrunched configuration, or an inverted configuration;
- wherein transforming into the folded configuration comprises folding the multi-layer tubular body at an intermediate region to create a shortened appearance;
- wherein transforming into the scrunched configuration comprises gathering the multi-layer tubular body along the lower leg region to create textured volume;
- and
- wherein transforming into the inverted configuration comprises opening the fastener, inverting the multi-layer tubular body to expose an alternate one of the first surface or the second surface as an exterior surface, and re-securing the fastener.
