Abstract
A display device including a display panel for displaying an image; and a display driver IC for controlling the display panel, is provided. The display panel may include: a lower substrate including at least one light-emitting element; and an upper substrate including a color filter layer and a color conversion layer. The color conversion layer of the upper substrate may include at least one color conversion part having a rod shape. The at least one color conversion part may convert a wavelength of light by including at least one color conversion particle that is regularly arranged, and may be continuously formed at predetermined intervals on the upper substrate.
Claims15
A display device, comprising:
- a display panel for displaying an image;
- and
- a display driver integrated circuit (IC) for controlling the display panel, wherein the display panel comprises:
- a lower substrate comprising at least one light emitting element;
- and
- an upper substrate comprising a color filter layer and a color conversion layer, wherein the color conversion layer comprises:
- at least one color conversion portion having a rod shape, wherein the at least one color conversion portion comprises at least one color conversion particle regularly arranged for converting a wavelength of light, and the at least one color conversion portion is continuously formed on the upper substrate at a regular interval.
A method for manufacturing a display device including a color conversion particle, comprising:
- forming a lower substrate comprising at least one light emitting element;
- and
- forming an upper substrate comprising a color filter layer and a color conversion layer,
- wherein the color conversion layer comprises at least one color conversion portion having a rod shape, and
- wherein the at least one color conversion portion comprises at least one color conversion particle regularly arranged for converting a wavelength of light, and the at least one color conversion portion is continuously formed on the upper substrate at a regular interval.
