Abstract
A display device includes a substrate. A lower electrode is disposed on the substrate. A metal layer is disposed on the substrate and exposes at least a portion of the lower electrode. A light emitting layer is disposed on the lower electrode and the metal layer. An upper electrode is disposed on the light emitting layer. An insulating layer is disposed on the upper electrode.
Claims12
A method of manufacturing a display device, the method comprising:
- forming a first lower electrode and a second lower electrode on a substrate;
- forming a first sacrificial layer on the first lower electrode and a second sacrificial layer on the second lower electrode;
- forming a preliminary metal layer on the first lower electrode and the second lower electrode;
- forming a first photoresist layer on the preliminary metal layer;
- forming a first opening by patterning the first photoresist layer, the first opening exposing the preliminary metal layer overlapping the first lower electrode;
- forming a second opening connected to the first opening and exposing the first sacrificial layer and the preliminary metal layer;
- wet etching the preliminary metal layer and the first sacrificial layer exposed by the second opening;
- removing the first photoresist layer;
- forming a preliminary first light emitting layer on the first lower electrode and the preliminary metal layer;
- forming a preliminary first upper electrode on the preliminary first light emitting layer;
- and
- forming a preliminary first insulating layer on the preliminary first upper electrode.
