Method and apparatus for multicast/broadcast communication

A User Equipment (UE) comprising:

• a receiver configured to receive a first message, the first message indicating that Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback is disabled;
• the receiver configured to receive a wireless signal in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) state, the wireless signal being scrambled by a multicast Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI), and wherein the UE fails to decode the wireless signal,
• wherein a transport block is used for generating the wireless signal, wherein whether to monitor retransmission of the transport block in a first time window is related to the RRC state,
• wherein, when the wireless signal is received in an RRC inactive state, the retransmission of the transport block is monitored in the first time window, and when the wireless signal is received in an RRC state other than the RRC inactive state, the retransmission of the transport block is not monitored in the first time window, and
• wherein the first time window is a maximum duration for which a multicast HARQ retransmission may be received.
