Handling of downlink versus uplink collision

A terminal device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the terminal device at least to:
• determine a collision between an uplink transmission and a downlink transmission scheduled in a slot;
• determine a scheme for resolving the collision, wherein the scheme indicates whether one of the uplink transmission and the downlink transmission is to be entirely or partially dropped;
• and
• perform, based on the scheme, at least one of transmitting the uplink transmission or receiving the downlink transmission.

A network device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the network device at least to:
• transmit, to a terminal device, a configured time length for the terminal device to determine a collision between an uplink transmission and a downlink transmission scheduled in a slot;
• and
• transmit, to the terminal device, an indication that whether one of the uplink transmission and the downlink transmission is to be entirely or partially dropped.
