Abstract
A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving section that receives a first downlink control channel (PDCCH) order, a transmitting section that transmits a random access channel (PRACH), based on the first PDCCH order, and a control section that controls, when a random access procedure without monitoring of a response signal (RAR) of the PRACH is configured, at least one of determination of a success or a failure of the PRACH and retransmission of the PRACH, based on whether or not a second PDCCH order or transmission confirmation information is received in certain duration.

A terminal comprising:
- a transmitter that performs a first physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission in a random access (RA) procedure without monitoring of a random access response (RAR), the RA procedure being initiated by a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order;
- and
- a processor that controls to apply power ramping to a second PRACH transmission when a second PDCCH order received after the first PRACH transmission includes a field indicating that the second PRACH transmission is a retransmission, and the second PDCCH order further indicates a same candidate cell and a same synchronization signal block (SSB) as the first PDCCH order.
A radio communication method for a terminal, comprising:
- performing a first physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission in a random access (RA) procedure without monitoring of a random access response (RAR), the RA procedure being initiated by a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order;
- and
- controlling to apply power ramping to a second PRACH transmission when a second PDCCH order received after the first PRACH transmission includes a field indicating that the second PRACH transmission is a retransmission, and the second PDCCH order further indicates a same candidate cell and a same synchronization signal block (SSB) as the first PDCCH order.
A base station comprising:
- a receiver that performs a reception of a first physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission by a terminal in a random access (RA) procedure without monitoring of a random access response (RAR), the RA procedure being initiated by a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order;
- and
- a processor that indicates that the terminal applies power ramping to a second PRACH transmission, by including, in a second PDCCH order received after the first PRACH transmission, a field indicating that the second PRACH transmission is a retransmission, and by indicating a same candidate cell and a same synchronization signal block (SSB) as the first PDCCH order.
A system comprising a terminal and a base station, wherein
- the terminal comprising:
- a transmitter that performs a first physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission in a random access (RA) procedure without monitoring of a random access response (RAR), the RA procedure being initiated by a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order;
- and
- a processor that controls to apply power ramping to a second PRACH transmission when a second PDCCH order received after the first PRACH transmission includes a field indicating that the second PRACH transmission is a retransmission, and the second PDCCH order further indicates a same candidate cell and a same synchronization signal block (SSB) as the first PDCCH order, and
- the base station comprises:
- a receiver that performs a reception of the first PRACH transmission.
