The present disclosure provides a communication method and apparatus, and the method includes: receiving, by a first device, a first resource sent by a second device; performing measurement on the first resource to obtain a measurement value; sending the measurement value and related information of a first reference point corresponding to the measurement value to the second device or a third device. That is, when sending the measurement value to the second device or the third device, the first device concurrently sends the related information of the first reference point to the second device or the third device. The present disclosure can improve the accuracy and robustness of positioning.
