Sidelink positioning security

A first terminal device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the first terminal device at least to perform operations, the operations comprising:
• sending, to an access and mobility function (AMF) of a communication network or a second terminal device, a request message comprising an identifier (ID) the first terminal device;
• and
• receiving, from the AME or the second terminal device, a reply message comprising a group specific key to be used for sidelink groupcast/broadcast communications between terminal devices in a group of terminal devices for sidelink positioning, wherein the terminal devices in the group of terminal devices include the first terminal device and the second terminal device.

A second terminal device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the second terminal device at least to perform operations, the operations comprising:
• generating a group specific key for sidelink groupcast/broadcast communications between the terminal device and at least one other terminal device included in a group of terminal devices for sidelink positioning;
• receiving, from a first terminal device in the group of terminal devices, a request message comprising an identifier (ID) of the first terminal device;
• and
• sending, to the first terminal device, a reply message comprising the group specific key.
