Abstract
A wireless system as discussed herein includes a communication management resource such as associated with a first wireless station. The communication management resource determines a first location where the first wireless station resides in a network environment. The communication management resource further receives control information. The control information is derived based on a second location where a second wireless station resides in the network environment. The communication management resource determines a wireless power level at which to transmit first wireless communications from the first wireless station in the network environment based on a combination of the first location and the control information.
Claims25
A method comprising:
- at a first wireless station:
- determining a first location where the first wireless station resides in a network environment;
- receiving control information, the control information derived based on a second location where a second wireless station resides in the network environment, the second wireless station assigned a higher priority in a tiered hierarchy than the first wireless station;
- and
- determining a wireless power level at which to transmit first wireless communications from the first wireless station in the network environment based on the first location and the control information.
A system comprising:
- communication management hardware operative to:
- determine a first wireless station resides in a network environment;
- receive control information, the control information derived based on a second location where a second wireless station resides in the network environment, the second wireless station assigned a higher priority in a tiered hierarchy than the first wireless station;
- and
- determine a wireless power level at which to transmit first wireless communications from the first wireless station in the network environment based on the first location and the control information.
Computer-readable storage hardware having instructions stored thereon, the instructions, when carried out by computer processor hardware, cause the computer processor hardware to:
- determine a first location where a first wireless station resides in a network environment;
- receive control information, the control information derived based on a second location where a second wireless station resides in the network environment, the second wireless station assigned a higher priority in a tiered hierarchy than the first wireless station;
- and
- determine a wireless power level at which to transmit first wireless communications from the first wireless station in the network environment based on the location of the first wireless station and the control information.
