Embodiments herein may relate to a method performed by a first network node (15) for handling communications in a communication network. The first network node (15) registers at a second network node (16), that the first network node supports a capability associated with a service related to AR and/or XR.

A method performed by a third network node for handling communications in a communication network, the method comprising:
- receiving from a user equipment (UE), a request for a first network node supporting a service related to augmented reality (AR) and/or extended reality;
- obtaining one or more indications of one or more first network nodes that supports the service related to AR and/or extended reality;
- and
- providing a response to the UE indicating the one or more first network nodes.
A method performed by a user equipment (UE) for handling communication of the UE in a communication network, the method comprising
- sending to a third network node, a request for a first network node supporting a service related to augmented reality (AR) and/or extended reality;
- and
- receiving a response from the third network node with an indication indicating a first network node supporting the service related to AR and/or extended reality.

A third network node for handling communications in a communication network, wherein the third network node is configured to:
- receive from a user equipment (UE), a request for a first network node supporting a service related to augmented reality (AR) and/or extended reality;
- obtain one or more indications of one or more first network nodes that supports the service related to AR and/or extended reality;
- and
- provide a response to the UE indicating the one or more first network nodes.
A user equipment, (UE) for handling communication of the UE in a communication network;
- wherein the UE is configured to:
- send to a third network node, a request for a first network node supporting a service related to augmented reality (AR), and/or extended reality;
- and
- receive a response from the third network node with an indication indicating a first network node supporting the service related to AR and/or extended reality.
