Abstract

A slidable electronic device is provided. The slidable device includes a housing including a first housing and a second housing configured to movably engage with the first housing between a retracted position and an extended position, a display coupled to the first housing and the second housing such that a size of an area of the display visible from a front side of the housing varies as the housing moves between the retracted position and the extended position, the display including an extended portion exposed in the extended position and covered in the retracted position and a fixed portion connected to the extended portion and fixedly exposed, a display cover coupled with the first housing and disposed to cover at least a portion of one edge of the display, and a first case disposed on one side of the housing, wherein in the retracted position, at least a portion of the display cover is covered by the first case, and in the extended position, the at least a portion of the display cover covered by the first case is exposed.
