Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may receive a first indication of a mutual information (MI) loss metric that is specific to a user equipment (UE). The network node may transmit a second indication of a retransmission size that is based at least in part on the MI loss metric. Numerous other aspects are described.
Claims20
A network node, comprising:
- a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more code-storing memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to cause the network node to:
- receive a first indication of a mutual information (MI) loss metric that is specific to a user equipment (UE);
- and
- transmit a second indication of a retransmission size that is based at least in part on the MI loss metric.
A method of wireless communication performed by a network node, comprising:
- receiving a first indication of a mutual information (MI) loss metric that is specific to a user equipment (UE);
- and
- transmitting a second indication of a retransmission size that is based at least in part on the MI loss metric.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions for wireless communication, the set of instructions comprising:
- one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a network node, cause the network node to:
- receive a first indication of a mutual information (MI) loss metric that is specific to a user equipment (UE);
- and
- transmit a second indication of a retransmission size that is based at least in part on the MI loss metric.
