Abstract
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving channel state information (CSI). The method includes: receiving first configuration information for a CSI report; and in case that a first condition is satisfied, transmitting the CSI report based on the first configuration information. The first condition is related to one or more of: a time associated with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX), a time associated with cell discontinuous reception (DRX), or a time associated with subband full duplex (SBFD). The communication efficiency can be improved by the method.
Claims15
A method performed by a terminal in a communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a first configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report;
- and
- transmitting, based on the first configuration, the CSI report on a serving cell with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) being activated in case that a predefined condition is satisfied,
- wherein the predefined condition includes receiving at least one channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) in an active period of the cell DTX.
A terminal in a communication system, the terminal comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processor coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
- receive a first configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report;
- and
- transmit, based on the first configuration, the CSI report on a serving cell with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) being activated in case that a predefined condition is satisfied,
- wherein the predefined condition includes receiving at least one channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) in an active period of the cell DTX.
A method performed by a base station in a communication system, the method comprising:
- transmitting a first configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report;
- and
- receiving the CSI report on a serving cell with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) being activated in case that a predefined condition is satisfied,
- wherein the predefined condition is associated with transmitting at least one channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) in an active period of the cell DTX.
A base station in a communication system, the base station comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processor coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
- transmit a first configuration of a channel state information (CSI) report;
- and
- receive the CSI report on a serving cell with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) being activated in case that a predefined condition is satisfied,
- wherein the predefined condition is associated with transmitting at least one channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) in an active period of the cell DTX.
