A power tool may include: a motor; a power transmission mechanism coupled to the motor; a housing that houses the motor and the power transmission mechanism; a holding part coupled to the power transmission mechanism; a tip tool held by the holding part and rotatable about a rotation axis; and a cover unit. The cover unit may include: a main cover attached to the housing and covering at least a part of the tip tool; and an auxiliary cover detachably attached to the main cover. The auxiliary cover may include: a cover body; a first contact member supported by the cover body and including a first flat contact surface; and a second contact member supported by the cover body and including a second flat contact surface inclined relative to the first flat contact surface. A distance between the first contact member and the second contact member may be adjustable.
