Abstract
The pouch forming device for a secondary battery includes a grip module configured to hold and fix edge portions of the pouch film, a first press module disposed on a first side of the pouch film and configured to pressure-form the pouch film in a first side direction so as to stretch the pouch film, and a second press module disposed on a second side of the pouch film and configured to press-form the pouch film in a second side direction so as to form a stepped battery cell accommodating part with respect to the edge portions.
Claims20
A pouch forming device for forming a pouch film of a pouch-type secondary battery, comprising:
- a grip module configured to hold and fix edge portions of the pouch film;
- a first press module disposed on a first side of the pouch film, the first press module configured to pressure-forming the pouch film in a firs side direction so as to stretch the pouch film;
- and
- a second press module disposed on a second side of the pouch film, the second press module configured to press-form the pouch film in a second side direction so as to form a stepped battery cell accommodating part with respect to the edge portions.
The pouch forming device
- the first press block has an ellipsoid shape, and
- the second press block has a shape corresponding to the stepped battery cell accommodating part.
A pouch-type secondary battery manufacturing method using a pouch forming device including a grip module, a first press module, and a second press module, comprising:
- a grip step of hold and fixing edge portions of a pouch film using the grip module;
- primarily pressing the pouch film in first side direction so that the first press module disposed on a first side of the pouch film stretches the pouch film;
- and
- secondarily pressing the pouch film in a second side direction so that the second press module disposed on a second side of the pouch film forms a stepped battery cell accommodating part with respect to the edge portions.
