Abstract
An electrode plate, which is an example of an embodiment of the present invention, has a core body and a mixture layer formed on the core body, and is provided with an exposed part where the surface of the core body is exposed. The electrode plate has a lead joined to the exposed part, and an identification display part formed on the outer surface of the lead. The identification display part includes at least one of a discolored part and a recess formed on the outer surface of the lead by a melting and solidifying part that penetrates the lead in the thickness direction and reaches the exposed part and joins the lead and the exposed part.
Claims5
An electrode plate that has:
- a core;
- and a mixture layer formed on the core, and is provided with an exposed portion where a surface of the core is exposed, the electrode plate comprising:
- a lead joined to the exposed portion;
- and
- an identification mark portion formed on an outer surface of the lead, wherein
- the identification mark portion includes at least one of a discolored portion and a recess formed in the outer surface of the lead by a molten and solidified portion that penetrates the lead in a thickness direction to reach the exposed portion, and joins the lead and the exposed portion.
A method of producing an electrode plate that has:
- a core;
- and a mixture layer formed on the core, and is provided with an exposed portion where a surface of the core is exposed,
- the electrode plate comprising:
- a lead joined to the exposed portion;
- and
- an identification mark portion formed on an outer surface of the lead,
- the method comprising irradiating the lead from outside with laser light in a state in which the lead is stacked on the exposed portion to form a molten and solidified portion that penetrates the lead in a thickness direction to reach the exposed portion, and joins the lead and the exposed portion, so that the identification mark portion is formed from at least one of a discolored portion and a recess formed in the outer surface of the lead by the molten and solidified portion.
