An electronic device, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• a storage means for storing one or more programs, wherein the one or more programs, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to implement an effect processing method, comprising:
• receiving an edit triggering operation for an effect, and presenting an effect detail page corresponding to the triggered effect, wherein at least one effect information item is presented in the effect detail page;
• receiving a state editing operation for the effect information item, and determining an editing state of the effect information item, wherein the editing state is configured for indicating whether the effect information item is editable when the effect is applied;
• and
• in response to an update triggering operation for the effect, updating the effect based on the editing state corresponding to the effect information item.

A non-transitory storage medium containing computer-executable instructions, wherein the computer-executable instructions, when executed by a computer processor, execute an effect processing method, comprising:

• receiving an edit triggering operation for an effect, and presenting an effect detail page corresponding to the triggered effect, wherein at least one effect information item is presented in the effect detail page;
• receiving a state editing operation for the effect information item, and determining an editing state of the effect information item, wherein the editing state is configured for indicating whether the effect information item is editable when the effect is applied;
• and
• in response to an update triggering operation for the effect, updating the effect based on the editing state corresponding to the effect information item.
