Abstract
A method of treating water in a water treatment system comprises introducing water to be treated into the water treatment system to produce a defined quantity of treated water having a defined quality metrics, receiving data indicative of one or more operating parameters of one or more unit operations of the water treatment system, determining a probability that the water treatment system will be able to produce and maintain production of treated water meeting the defined quality and the defined quantity metrics based on the received data, generating a risk assessment score based on the probability, and displaying the risk assessment score to a user.

A method of treating water in a water treatment system, the method comprising:
- introducing water to be treated into the water treatment system to produce a defined quantity of treated water having defined quality metrics;
- receiving data indicative of one or more operating parameters of one or more unit operations of the water treatment system;
- determining a probability that the water treatment system will be able to produce and maintain production of treated water meeting the defined quality and the defined quantity metrics based on the received data;
- generating a risk assessment score based on the probability;
- and
- displaying the risk assessment score to a user.
