Responding to a challenge data structure using sound recognition

A computer system comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory, to:
• receive a challenge data structure defining a challenge user interface, wherein the challenge user interface comprises a playback control area to play an audio clip comprising a plurality of sounds, and wherein the challenge user interface comprises a request to select two or more answers corresponding to two or more sounds from a multiple choice answer area of the challenge user interface;
• display the challenge user interface on a screen;
• capture, responsive to displaying the challenge user interface on the screen, a user selection from the multiple choice answer area indicating a selection of the two or more answers corresponding to the two or more sounds;
• and
• provide, to a challenge server, the user selection to be used by the challenge server to determine whether to grant the processing device access to a computer resource based on whether the two or more sounds are contained within the plurality of sounds of the audio clip.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to:

• receive, by the processing device, a challenge data structure defining a challenge user interface, wherein the challenge user interface comprises a playback control area to play an audio clip comprising a plurality of sounds, and wherein the challenge user interface comprises a request to select two or more answers corresponding to two or more sounds from a multiple choice answer area of the challenge user interface;
• display the challenge user interface on a screen;
• capture, responsive to displaying the challenge user interface on the screen, a user selection from the multiple choice answer area indicating a selection of the two or more answers corresponding to the two or more sounds;
• and
• provide, to a challenge server, the user selection to be used by the challenge server to determine whether to grant the processing device access to a computer resource based on whether the two or more sounds are contained within the plurality of sounds of the audio clip.
